The Return of Winter

I believe all of that sunshine and blue sky disoriented me. I realize that as of February 13th, we are still in the midst of the beautiful and serene season of winter, BUT -- all those sunny, blue sky, warm temperature, bug explosion days got me thinking that we were perhaps inching our way closer to spring.



Alright and then there was the blooming forsythia and gushing daffodils that spurred me on. This was compounded by the explosion of spring flowers at the grocery store. Yes as the snow was flying outside, I was inside trying desperately to buy up spring.

So as the snow continues to fall this afternoon, my store-bought spring blossoms sit nestled warmly in our home... perhaps as wishful as I, that spring may be just around the corner.
