The BEST end tables (i.m.o.)

My living room has been in a state of change for a few years now.   One of the things that I need is a new end table, so I went searching and I would like to share with you what I’ve found.   I love the following tables and wouldn’t mind any one of them in my room.

Edwardo End Table, Drexel Heritage Furniture, Inc., Thomasville, North Carolina.

I LOVE this end table.  Cane furniture is a favorite, and the fact that the shelves are made of it puts this end table on the top of my list.  The top is a simple wood (below) with edge molding.

 

Chelsea End Table.  Westwood Interiors, Los Angeles, CA.  Walking into a room and seeing the silhouette of this end table is a fantastic thing.  The fan of wood and the simple top makes this table suitable for casual or elegant decor.

 

Iron and Marble End Table.  Speer Collectibles, Kennesaw, Georgia.  First of all, iron and marble are wonderful together period.  But, mix this wonderful criss-cross pattern on the base with the dark top and you have a visually interesting piece of furniture.  Good in a monotone room.

 

4-Sided Navajo End Table.  Perry Design and Manufacturing, Tucson, AZ. 

Again, another table that has a fabulous silhouette and gives interest to a room.  This type of table can go with traditional or modern furniture.  You can also top it with a favorite piece of marble or be creative and add something funky for a unique piece.

 

Parisian Mobile Tea/Chairside Table.  Drexel Heritage Furniture, Inc., Thomasville, North Carolina.

I love a good tea caddy (I’m a huge tea drinker).  And, I love the formality of this one with the brass and glass.  It’s an instant classic.

 

Claudia Accent Table, Drexel Heritage Furniture, Inc., Thomasville, North Carolina.

For some reason, I’m drawn to tripod tables, and this one is no exception.  Especially with the polished chrome finish and the ball feet detail.  Excellent!

 

Tripod End Table.  Decorative Crafts, Greenwich, Connecticut. 

Another tripod table that I love.  I don’t know if this one is telescoping or not, but just the look of it is fantastic.

 

Alexander End Table.  Silkroute International, San Leandro, CA.

Love the wood and iron.  The scrolling detail of the iron is very southwestern and the very distressed wood top makes this table suitable for the perfect log cabin or Spanish hacienda!
