Temporary Housing

Well, I can honestly say, all I want for Christmas is a new house.  Today, a few more rooms were painted and more tile (after almost 4 weeks of no activity) was placed in the master shower.  Although, there was some progress with the tile, it was not ready for the glass shower guy to measure for the doors...ugg!  Also, husband and I notice that the tile has about a 1/8" movement about half way up the wall; meaning that the tile is not even.  I am going to have to meet with our builder in the morning to show him the tile needs to be fixed.  We had hopes of closing on the house next week, but we feel that is pretty ambitous at this point.

Okay, if you have children...parental discretion is advised.  The pictures you are about to see may be upsetting.  Prepare yourself and hold on.  This is a glimpse into the place we have been living in since August 2009.

You may notice a few patches in the floor of the shower.  My husband's foot went through the floor.

I will not step foot in this shower with these on.

This is our kitchen.

This fridge will accomodate milk, orange juice and deli meat and that is about it.

Our dear Lucy taking a nap our bed.

This is our master bath shower.  I can't wait to finally take a shower without my flip flops!

I will be posting pictures of our lights in the new house this weekend, so stay tuned, you will not be disappointed.  The lights are really spectacular.  Here is a glimpse of what is to come...

Talk to you soon!
