We just came back from a wonderful long weekend at one of my favorite beachside destinations - Mooloolaba on the Sunshine Coast. It was perfect although a little hot on Saturday. We took my husbands staff away for a night and out for dinner for the second year running. It's a great way to unwind and time to take life a little less seriously. My family arrived yesterday to celebrate our parents 40th wedding anniversary. There were 19 of us with all the kids! Quite big!

As much as i am looking forward to a white Christmas in New York one year, I must say, we really are blessed to enjoy a long summer and great food this time of the year also!
