GIVE AWAY: Stella and Dot

I am really, strangely particular about the jewelry I will and won't wear. I only wear really chunky or really delicate necklaces. I don't do dangly earrings because they look funny on me. But I'm always wearing studs, usually pearls. I only wear bracelets on special occasions, but love wearing watches. I LOVE right hand rings and cocktail rings.

What about you, readers? Are you as particular as I am?

Even if you are particular, I'm sure you'll love Stella and Dot jewelry as much as I do. One lucky reader will have their choice of the Palm necklace...

or the Boca necklace from Stella and Dot.

Here are some of my other favorite offerings from Stella and Dot:

I need this gold flower ring

Turquoise is so on trend right now, but is also super classic.

Ruby studs are a fun way to mix things up.

Such a pretty new take on pearls:

Remember this flower necklace, featured in Lucky?

I'm seriously loving the simplicity of this Ball chain necklace.

This bib necklace would be gorgeous with a simple white tee, boyfriend jeans and heels.

Maybe you've seen Stella and Dot jewelry on celebrities and heard about it through InStyle, People, and Oprah?

To enter to win either the Palm or Boca necklace, please leave a comment about your favorite piece of jewelry on the Stella and Dot site.

As always, the winner will be chosen using random.org. Comments will be closed Sunday, March 21 at midnight. Good luck!

PS Alisa, who represents Stella and Dot, has a great blog called A Pina Colada. And if any of you are interested in becoming a Stella and Dot stylist, you can contact Alisa with questions.

GIVE AWAY from La Plates

Welcome to our newest LGN sponsor: La Plates!

La Plates offers personalized 10" melamine plates, salad/dinner plates, platters, placemats, acrylic trays and ice buckets, cups and napkins, coolers and totes.

Lara Shelton started La Plates in 2008 with the goal of bringing fashionably hip and casual/kid-friendly designs to the table. And I think it's safe to say that she has been wildly successful in reaching that goal. Her monogrammed dinnerware and accessories are so gorgeous and so fun.

Fun dinnerware for outdoor or indoor place settings:

And there are great acrylic trays, for the lucite lover in all of us:

Remember this bag that I posted about in December? La Plates carries it!! I just got mine from La Plates last week, and I have to say that I LOVE it. It is big, but not ridiculously so. I've been using it as a work bag and it is perfect for all my paint decks and fabric samples, a laptop and notepads. It would make a really great diaper bag too. I get all sorts of compliments on it when I'm out and about.

La Plates is kindly offering a set of four custom salad/dinner plates for one lucky LGN reader. To enter, please check out the La Plates site and leave a comment with the style of plate and monogram of your choice.

I'm having a hard time choosing between the clover, Greek key, modern, and squares patterns. And there is something to be said for the solid plate...choices, choices!!

Comments will be closed Sunday, March 14 at midnight.

P.S. the code LGN10 will get readers 10% off all plates, platters & placemats. Thank you, La Plates!

GIVE AWAY from Budget Wise Home

Heidi from Budget Wise Home is one of my latest sponsors. And she's kindly offering up one of her products to a lucky LGN reader!

Heidi is a mother, blogger and small business owner with a budget-concious attitude and a great eye for design! One of her decorating rules is to never pay full price for an item over $30 - a great idea, I think!

some of Heidi's Jewelry Art.

Her awesome website includes features like:

Budget Tip of the Day:

The home page features one new budget decorating tip M-F. These are simple tips that anyone can do without breaking the bank. With each tip, I try to give you detailed step-by-step instructions on everything so you can easily tackle any project. I also do my best tell you where to go to get the best price on items you need.

Daily Steal:

Every day (M-F) @ 9 am MST, one new item will be featured on the Daily Steal page. Budget Wise Home will find the best deals around on quality home decor and pass them along to you. Only items that are discounted at least 40% will be featured. This means huge savings for you! At such a discount, these items usually don’t last long. If you sign up to receive the daily steal email alert, you'll get an email when there is a new item, so you can be the first to steal it before it's gone!

Shopping:

At Budget Wise Home you won't find anything outrageously priced. Basically, I do the work in finding the best deals I can on home décor, and then pass them on to you.

The favorite things page features items that I just love. They offer high style AND a budget-wise price tag. I continually update this page whenever I find a great deal.

The Budget Wise aStore also features the best home décor deals that I find on Amazon. Again, I update whenever I find something with an affordable price tag.

Blog:

This is where I post about my budget DIY home decorating ideas and projects.

Jewelry Art by Heidi

For years I was so frustrated with where to put my jewelry. Either it would get tangled, or I would forget about it because I couldn’t see what I had. As a result, I never wore it. I wanted something that was functional and beautiful. A few months later “Jewelry Art” was born. Jewelry Art is where beauty and function collide. I think that jewelry in itself is art and is too beautiful to keep hidden away in a box. In this shop you'll find unique items to display your all of your jewels while adding beautiful artwork to your room. All items are handmade and customized just for you.

Wouldn't you love your very own Jewelry Art? Heidi is graciously giving away an earring pedestal:

  • Holds up to 23 pairs of hanging earrings.
  • Contains 3 additional compartments for small jewelry such as rings, stud earrings, bracelets, etc.
  • Allows you to see what you've got, so you never lose or tangle your earrings.
  • Handmade jewelry display constructed using the highest quality materials.
  • Available in 4 colors.

To enter to win, please leave a comment on this post before Monday, January 18, at midnight EST. The winner will be chosen and announced next week. Good luck and thanks to Heidi! Now, go check out her blog and add it to your reader!
