This bedroom is amazing! The sconces on the upholstered wall, the linen draperies and bedding and the vintage door.  A perfect way to relax and unwind from a long day.

Luxurious interiors!

A couple of weeks ago I was introduced to NY interior designer Marlaina Teich and Canadian design duo Corea Sotropa. Marlaina has been working on the Mansions and Millionaires Designer Showhouse in NY, and Corea Sotropa have been working in Calgary.

Marlaina's chic and glamorous Virginia Wolfe inspired "room of one's own."

I love the Corea Sotropa renovation above - the kitchen is a nice blend of elegant, with a spritz of farm house.

An adorable peaceful playroom from Corea Sotropa.

Thanks Maggie!

A classy and elegant house

I fell in love with the home of Windsor Smith, which is featured on the September issue of House Beautiful. Her kitchen also graces the cover. As you can see, she's got a sophisticated taste without being flashy, and I love her eye for color!

Gorgeous European Interiors

Lots of prettiness for you this morning! I've collected some images that I feel are particularly sensual. I feel like they focus a lot more on patina and texture in France - thoughts?

I love the juxtaposition of this rusic table with the elegant pink walls and gold accents

Love the composition on the mantle

I really love the chest of drawers against the wall - what a great piece for organizing

check out the wall! It looks like a detail of a Monet!

Two lovely portfolios - one a designer, one a photographer

Two talented artists for you today!

The work of Suzy Hoodless, who runs a design consultancy and styles residential interiors to advertising campaigns.

I like the tapestry, and I like the console...I'm just not so sure about what's going on with the legs...

I love her wallpaper designs, especially the top one.

And... the elegant and eclectic photography of photographer Simon Upton.

I've always liked art in the bathroom.

Can you pick? 3 pretty apartments up for a prize...

Skona Hem holds a monthly contest where readers can vote on the most inspiring homes of other readers... I decided to compile some of the entries here to see what you guys thought!

House A: bright, open, and airy

House B: comfy, feminine, and cheerful

House C: luxurious, textural, elegant:

I'm so glad purple has been getting the love it deserved recently!

I'm leaning towards B because it feels a little warmer to me, and more realistic to maintain. I'm open to persuasion though!
