The Recipe Door

(Photo via  Dinner A Love Story)

I’m my house kitchen is the first room people enter and it’s the most enjoyable room for guests to be in because of the open spaces and the warm wall colour. For me kitchen should be the vocal point of a home and the one where everyone is hanging around. Jenny from DALS had this great idea of making use of the inside part of a cabinet door by posting some great family recipes or your favourite mixes. It’s just a lovely idea for all those creative people who would like to add some extra flavour to your kitchen set. Just imagine opening the cabinet door and seeing your grandma's Meatball recipe and picturing her making those delicious meatballs with so much love and care. You can have that feeling every time you open that door.
I’m sold! The hard part is to choose the recipe ....We have sooo many of them.
If you could post any recipe on your cabinet door which one would it be and why?
I’m looking forward to your ideas!!!

Wish you all yummy thoughts,

Tea...How do you feel about it?

I am addicted to tea, but not the black kind or the fruity ones but to all types of green tea. I find this beautiful green leafy potion to be so refreshing and it has so many benefits. The secret of green tea lies in the fact it is rich in EGCG. EGCG is a powerful anti-oxidant. If you are interested, here are just a few of the medical conditions in which drinking green tea is reputed to be helpful: cancer, rheumatoid arthritis, high cholesterol levels, cardiovascular disease, infection, impaired immune function. I found that drinking green tea daily (that is the only thing I drink those days) helps in speeding your metabolism and helps in losing weight, which rocks my world. But of course however delicious the tea can be, it’s always cool to have great tea brewing infusers. The other day I found this adorable submarine and I fell in love with it. If you are interested in getting one, just check out this web: http://www.monkey-bus.co.il/Product.aspx?CategoryID=3&SubCategoryID=0&ProductID=225&IsSearch=true
Isn't that just so adorable???
So what kind of tea rocks your world...or gives you a little tickle :)????

Have a fantastic weekend....It's Friday :)

Spring is in the air. Time to think about redecorating

We moved to our latest apartment ("the one") almost 2 years ago on the 5th March 2008. It definitely feels much longer because the last 2 years were very busy and full of surprises, heartaches, realizations, changes and many happy moments. But let’s not kid outself...out of 2 years about 10 months sucked.
We are past all that now and it’s almost spring time and I am onto a new project which will take me a while- redecorating our kitchen...eventually. I am the type of person who takes forever to decide what exactly I would like to change, so my mission is to for the next few weeks get a lot of inspiration from blogs, magazines and of course IKEA....
We have a plain white set which was here when we bought this place. I will post some pics later today to show it off (there is not much to show off....believe me).
I was thinking about making is more of a kitchen/dining room with little space for beanbags, but I don’t have a specific idea. If any of you have something you could inspire me with then please let me know.
Here are few pictures which I think are great!!!!

Have a lovely afternoon
