The supercute apartment of a vintage clothing shop owner

This kitchen is tiny but functional

A nice little workspace

I like the vintage trunks as a nightstand - and check out the shoe storage underneath

Check out my article/slide show on Canadian House and Home!

I'm really excited about this little feature I put together for Canadian House and Home Magazine's website - you can check it out here. It is a compiling of my 10 favorite rooms. This actually took an very long time for me to put together, as I wanted to show photos that aren't easily found on the web. I hope you enjoy them!

Above are just a few! Go to the slide show for credits!

Favorite images from my favorite blogs

I haven't written up a favorite images post in awhile so I thought I might today. Enjoy the eye candy!

I love that soap in the "milk" scent. A bar might cost you $7, but it lasts me a whole year!

These images were all shot by the wonderful photographer, Lara Rossignol - and from her wonderful blog, Piewacket.

Poppytalk features many "real artist studios," which I love. It is inspiring for me to see how other artists work. It's also nice to know that real studios don't look like perfect magazine offices!

A stunning modern makeover for a victorian home

LivingEtc. is one of my favorite decorating magazines - most of their homes have a clean, modern-retro look, while still looking homey and lived in. This actresses home is no exception. Her renovation story is interesting and can be read here.

stunning, no?

*hint* she keeps her cream carpets spotless by having them professionally cleaned once every four months.

love this bed

Interior photographer portfolio - a light and airy treat

This is the portfolio of Maree Homer. I love the blend of country, modern, down-to-earth lived-inness (prob. not a real word) that these homes capture. One day when I finally stop moving once a year I hope to achieve such a comforting home.
