Favorite images from my favorite blogs

Hi all - sorry I've been MIA this week, a lot came up. I thought I'd merge back into the grind with some lovely imagery I've found on some of my favorite blogs. In no particular order:

From the breezy, beautiful Beach Bungalow 8

Such a cheerful windowseat!

I like the look of different curtains, mixed and matched

From the always delightful Brabourne Farms

All of these kitchens are stunning, from the awesome, multilingual ChicoDeco

I'm off to blog from Spain for a month - so I'm kicking it off with some Spanish houses!

I'm literally about to walk out the door to the airport to fly out of Newark tonight and land in Madrid in the morning. I'll be in Spain with my wonderful boyfriend, who's teaching English there this year - Segovia to be exact - for about a month. However, the first week in January we will be in Morocco visiting Marrakesh and Fes - which I'm super excited about. Don't worry I will be updating you with photos as often as I can!

For now, I thought I'd try to gain a little serenity with these lovely homes from Spanish magazine, "Micasa," in order to mentally prepare for dealing with the airport!

what do you think of the newspaper finish on the ovens - or cabinets I can't tell...

Classic country or Modern country? Which are you?

I like country style - but country style can encompass sooooo many looks. I thought I'd see which way you guys leaned - "traditional" country, or "modern" country.

Lets start with classic country:

Love this organized but full-of-charm home office.

Gorgeous - and the chicken wire screens are great too.

...or do you like a more contemporary country?

This bedroom is so stunning - and the monochromatic palette keeps the damask from being too busy for a bedroom

Amy Butler's workspace!

Which do you prefer?

A light-filled portfolio: Swedish interior stylist Sasa Antic

I have a great find for you this afternoon! It's gloomy outside over the Hudson River, but boy is it bright and beautiful in these photos - and the architectural details in some of these homes are to die for!

Adorable and practical

love this...

I'm liking the stacked magazine look - and I might have to refer to it as my collection has multiplied. I'd just stick a plush shag rug there to lay on while browsing through them.

Look! This person's DVDs are out in the open *gasp*
