Photo Shoot

Isn't it every girl's dream to get dressed up, have your make-up and hair done by a professional, and be part of a photo shoot? Ahh... to dream.

Happy Wednesday

This week is busy busy! The renovation is moving along... the painting, flooring and carpet come soon. I need to get outside today and run because
the 10K is this Saturday... Yikes!
I am loving this sweet photo of green glass bottles with the light shining through. This image would go great with my seafoam green post.
Have a great Wednesday!

Daylight Saving Time

Many of you lost an hour of sleep last night, but do you really know why? This article in about.com explains it perfectly. "The change allows us to use less energy in lighting our homes by taking advantage of the longer and later daylight hours. Daylight Savings Time was instituted in the United States during World War I in order to save energy for war production by taking advantage
of the later hours between April and October."

The moody, beautiful photography of Rodney Smith

These photos speak for themselves. You'll notice a common theme of window, which for me speak of introspection, and waiting..waiting...waiting. The empty rooms also speak of being left behind or a time and place forgotten, or neglected. Atleast for me. Do these photos have a meaning for you?

A feast for the eyes

I came across this wonderful Garden Photographer of the Year competition, organised by the amazing Kew Gardens in England.  Enjoy!!

This is by Michael Lowe, I think it looks like a tapestry.

as does this by Philip Coleman.

Pretty topical, this by Tim Smith,

so is this which I've slipped in from my daughter's collection.

While Carole Drake promises us warmer days to come.

Happy Weekend

Happy weekend! I have a whole list of fun things to do today... pick out paint colors for the addition, pick out flooring for the art studio and other rooms, run (training for the 10K) and then hopefully watch a good movie?
Any ideas for a good rental?
